Abstract

There are many people who get stuck when writing a novel.
In this project, we pre-trained a language model by using a huge dataset of Japanese text (about 40GB), and trained the model of novel writing assistance by transfer learning using a huge dataset of Web novels (more than 110,000 novel titles).
With this model, we developed an interface that automatically generates and proposes the titles and synopses of a novel by inputting the keywords of the theme the writer wants to write about.
We have also developed an interface that automatically generates and presents the subsequent phrases based on the writer’s article to improve his or her writing skills, such as selection of suitable words or diverse words.

文章を書くときに行き詰ってしまう人は多い。本プロジェクトでは、日本語の大規模データセット（～40GB）で言語モデルを事前学習した後、Web小説をデータセットとして用いて転移学習を行った。このモデルを用いて、書き手が書きたいテーマのキーワードを入力することで、小説のタイトルとあらすじを自動生成・提案するインターフェースを開発した。また、言葉の選択や展開など、書き手の文章力の幅を広げるために、書き手の文章をもとに後続のフレーズを自動生成して提示するインターフェースを開発した。
