頭のないゴキブリに電気刺激を与え時計にする作品。
ゴキブリを電気刺激で制御しようとすると自発的に動き制御しにくい。
しかし、頭を切り落とし脳を切除することで自発的に動かなくなりコンピュータによる制御が容易になる。
本作品では前足に電気刺激を与えている。
それにより、ゴキブリは回転し時計の針が進む。
We made a new clock by giving electrical stimulation to a cockroach.
It is difficult to control the cockroaches when trying to control them by electrical stimulation.
Because they move spontaneously.
However, by cutting off the head and removing the brain, they do not move spontaneously and the control by the computer becomes easy.
In this work, electrical stimulation is given to the forefoot.
As a result, the cockroach rotates and the hands of the clock advance.
